I was born in Kalocsa in 1983. Music has been a defining part of my life since childhood. Although I do not pursue it professionally, it has always been a natural environment for me – as a listener, a creator, and from a technical perspective alike.
I began composing music as an autodidact. I am mostly inspired by the Romantic era of classical music and the film scores rooted in it – drawn to their rich textures, emotional depth, and orchestration.
My compositions are primarily instrumental pieces built upon moods, personal impressions, and emotions. In recent years, songwriting has also become a meaningful part of my life. Kata Bóta and I share a close collaboration, not just personally but as creators, shaping our songs together from the initial musical ideas to the final recordings.
Having lived in Budapest for twenty years, it was curiously upon returning to my hometown of Kalocsa that I found the creative environment that truly inspires me. The personal and artistic connections, communities, and collaborations here brought me much closer to the artistic vision and practice I had always been looking for.
Kamara Sessions was born as a continuation of this shared musical workshop. Our goal is to realize a concert series that brings intimate, attentive musical experiences to the forefront.
My current musical and community projects:
